Return of the living dead werewolf

Greetings!

It's been quite a while since there was any development here, but things are finally getting back on track now. The last couple of weeks I've been picking up the slack and I'm in the process of making a new public development release. (Beta3) A lot of packages has already been updated and the development is on going.

We have also been so fortunate to get a new host for all our files. ISOs, sources and packages are now hosted at: ftp://ftp.slackware.org.uk/wolvix/ A big thanks goes out to Darren ‘Tadgy’ Austin for providing us with a new and fast mirror. The new mirror syncs every four hours with a non public rsync server I’ve set up. (Anyone wanting to host a mirror for Wolvix can contact me and I’ll give you access to the rsync server.)

Here’s a guide on how to add the new mirror to your existing Wolvix-2.0.0-beta2 install and upgrade the packages.

As some of you might have noticed a new development build ISO (build51) was listed at DistroWatch. This ISO was not intended for public download as it’s buggy and a new public beta release should be out shortly. However since the cat is out of the bag I’ve decided to make a new build ISO available to you. The Wolvix-2.0.0-build52.iso is less buggy than build51, but keep in mind that it’s NOT a beta release, just a development snapshot.
